Here we have Jo Jo the
clown cookie jar made by Shawnee Pottery Co. of Zanesville Ohio. This is
an original cookie jar with the embossed writing on bottom reading:
Shawnee, USA #12. He is in very nice vintage condition with one
unfortunate issue...where there once was a ball balancing on top of the
brown seal's nose....it is no longer there. Otherwise, the base of the
jar with Jo Jo is very colorful with an array of colors which are
blemish free with only one chip on inside under lip where lid meets.
Measures approximately 9" tall x 9" wide x 6" deep. Still an overall
nice colorful cookie jar dating back to the 1950's.
