Dietz N.Y. U.S.A No. 8 Air Pilot Kerosene Lantern

 

This is a Vintage Dietz No. 8 Air Pilot kerosene lantern made in N.Y. USA. There were many later models made in China, but this is the real deal with the raised lettering on tank reading, "N.Y. USA". This lantern looks to be in it's original blue paint and has a red globe with a peep hole to see the wick. It's in great vintage condition with very little rust, dings and scratches with all movable parts moving freely as they should. Globe is damage free with no chips or cracks in glass. This is a great buy for anyone who collects them to someone who may just want a great lantern for hunting or camping.
